Reinforcing Fabric

Base Reinforcing Fabric is a woven polyester fabric designed to be used to reinforce waterproofing membranes at sheet joints and floor and wall junctions.

The fabric has excellent strength and allows elongation of the membrane without delamination from the fabric.

Its open weave is easier to wet out and incorporate into the membrane than traditional reinforcing fabrics like fibreglass.

Waterproofing Reinforcing Fabric 100mm

Directions for use:

Measure and cut fabric to required lengths.
Apply a thick coat of Base 101 Waterproofing Membrane approx. 100mm wide
Embed fabric then apply second coat of 101 Waterproofing Membrane ensuring all wrinkles and air bubbles are brushed out to leave a flat smooth finish.
